First Round Winner

The Sierra Leon FinTech challenge is a startup competition run by the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL) in collaboration with Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSD Africa), UNCDF’s Mobile Money for the Poor (MM4P), with support from USAID and the Sida-funded Last Mile Trust Fund.

First Runner-Up in the Most Scalable Category

International Telecoms Union (ITU) is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies (ICTs). InvestED was the first runner-up in the Most Scalable Category of the Global SME Awards. This award highlights the most promising solutions from SMEs making innovative use of ICTs for social impact.

Western United States Regional Winner

Global EdTech Startups Awards is the world’s largest EdTech startup competition. Over 1500 entrepreneurs from across the world apply. InvestED, PBC won the Western United States regional finals. Judges included such EdTech luminaries as Jimmy Wales, Founder of Wikipedia.
